Hans Dau is the CEO of The Mitchell Madison Group. Over his 25-year consulting career, he has served C-level executives of large public companies, private equity firms, and other public and private institutions. He has worked in North America, Europe, and Asia with a focus on devising creative solutions for complex issues and unlocking economic value for his clients and their shareholders.

Hans has worked across many industries, including banking, insurance, manufacturing, technology, entertainment, and retail with a focus on short-term earnings improvement through strategic sourcing, pricing optimization and marketing analytics.

For example, he has helped a major insurance company manage $500M in legal expenses by introducing an industry-first lifetime cost per case model that produced 35% savings, consulted to launch a major online dating business, advised a software company on salesforce management, and developed a sales effectiveness and pricing optimization machine learning model for a large telecom company.

Prior to The Mitchell Madison Group, Hans was a senior vice president and co-founder of an enterprise software company and an equity analyst for Deutsche Bank in New York.

He received his MBA from the Amos Tuck School at Dartmouth College and a degree in business and economics from the University of Mannheim, Germany. He is a dual citizen of the US and Germany and currently resides in Jackson Hole, WY.

In his free time, he enjoys skiing, off-road motorcycles, and exploring the less populated and harder to reach places of the great outdoors with his two sons. Hans is a member of the Pacific Council of International Policy and frequently participates in their international delegations.
